General

The Carl Martin PlexiTone drive delivers that pure, unadulterated classic rock sound that bloomed during the '70s and didn't stop until the '80s. If the flavour doesn't pack quite enough punch, it can be pushed further using the gain select switch, or the signal can be wiped down completely for a clean boost of up to 20dBs using the left footswitch. Crunch, Tone, and Level pots are provided to dial in the fundamental tone, while the High-Gain is used to select your preferred level of drive, and the Boost pot does exactly what you'd expect. Just to be sure that you have enough headroom, the PlexiTone has an internal current of 12V, but can still run happily on a standard 9V power supply.
