Wrote the following about TC Electronic MojoMojo Overdrive Effect Pedal

Mojomojo gives a lot of control over the overdriven signal and works really well with my Ibinez hollowbody and my Westbury (both have humbuckers) when feeding into my Blackstar tube amp. I'm really pleased with it.

Bax turned around my order in double-quick time and their price was very competitive, so they will definitely go onto my list of potential suppliers.

This is really quite poor. You need an adapter to plug this into a mains socket in the UK. The adapter is supplied, bit it just makes the whole thing huge. It works fine though.

The MojoMOJO overdrive is the best overdrive pedal I have personally used. The tonal variations are so subtle, pronounced and very wide ranging, from just a hint of breakup to creamy smooth overdrive which is not over saturated at extremes. Such a competitve price for for this exceptional overdrive pedal. Nearly lost one star due to fact that the bottom section of the unit is painted with a an attractive brown metallic sparkle finish while the top section is a flat brown finish. While this is purely asthetic it would have been better if finished same all over... plain or metallic.

Once more Bax Music have provided excellent value and first class service.

Opgehaald bij BAX Rotterdam die 'm gewoon op voorraad had. Deze MojoMojo is perfect voor mijn gebruik. Ik zocht een boost die naar lichte overdrive kan gaan maar zonder dat het meteen een metal geluid zou geven. Daarom viel mijn keuze op deze box, in plaats van de TC Electronic Dark Matter die toch meer in de distortion hoek zit. Met de drive, level, voice keuze en toonregeling, kan je de tone intuïtief heel exact afstellen. Dat is eigenlijk veel meer dan je van een overdrive pedaal zou verwachten. Voor dit geld denk ik niet dat je veel beter in huis kan halen, maar uiteindelijk is sound natuurlijk een kwestie van smaak. Dus altijd zelf uitproberen of de vele reviews van dit pedaaltje bekijken om te bepalen of het geluid bij je past. Samen met mijn Zoom Multi Stomp MS-70CDR en Boss RC-3 Loop Station heb ik nu eigenlijk alles in huis om mijn gitaren lekker te laten klinken en op te nemen. Voor een zeer schappelijke prijs kan je met de MojoMojo een eigen sound creëren. Kortom een aanrader waar je m.i. niet snel spijt van krijgt.

Ik sluit me aan bij de reviews van Tom van D. en Ton H: prima pedaaltje! Ik gebruik hem om m'n Bass licht te oversturen en dat levert een heerlijk vet geluid op :-) !
Prijs is bovendien een No-Brainer!

Ik gebruik deze voeding thuis i.s.m. een Vox stomplab 1G. Helaas heb ik geconstateerd dat deze soms uitvalt op de voeding. Geen last van op de 9V batterij. Kan nergens vinden hoeveel Ah deze Vox vebruikt, zodat ik dan evt. een zwaardere voeding kan kopen.

Heb nog geen gegevens gevonden hoeveel

Ik kocht dit pedaal als overdrive voor elektrische gitaar, echter vond ik hem meer als een fuzz pedaal klinken, niet super dus omdat dit niet was waar ik naar opzoek was. Ik heb het pedaal aan een vriend geschonken om te gebruiken bij zijn bas rig, en we kwamen er achter dat hij geweldig werkt als een bas overdrive pedaal! Dus zelf niet tevreden (al is het een erg goed fuzz-achtig pedaal) maar voor bas overdrive geweldig

Mooie transparante drive met knappe toonregeling. Te gebruiken als boost maar ook geschikt als volwaardige scheur. Vóór een compressor zetten om de dynamische respons te benutten, ná een compressor wordt het een strak scheurbeest. De schakelaar voor toonkarakter is erg subtiel, wel een hoorbaar randje. Prijs/kwaliteit no-brainer.
