General

Part of Odyssey's vast range of custom DJ controller flight cases, the FRTKS4MK3 model is built to harbour an NI Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3. To ensure optimal protection, this highly reliable, low-profile case combines a foam-lined interior with a hard-wearing exterior finished with heavy-duty ball corners, recessed latches, a handle and rubber feet. Since the foam interior is slightly raised, the controller is positioned little higher and be can easily used from inside the case, while any connected cables can be neatly stored underneath and routed through the rear and bottom cable ports.

This flight case is superb for the price.
It is solidly built, not too heavy, and the desk fits perfectly inside, with plenty of room for cables and extra bits.
The desk does not move 1mm when the box has the lid a on, and I would happily take it anywhere, safe in the knowledge that it was secure in this flight case.

Voor mijn Native Instruments S4 Mark 3 werd ik door een vriend geadviseerd om een stofkap aan te schaffen. Daar ik de S4 van iemand had overgenomen die de kartonnen doos niet meer had, dacht ik aan een flightcase. Op die manier zou ik de Dj controller netjes en stof vrij kunnen opbergen en eventueel mee kunnen nemen als ik eens buiten de deur zou draaien.

Ik ben erg tevreden over de flightcase. De buitenkant ziet er zeer solide uit. De onderkant heeft een paar stevige en goede rubber doppen en alle hoeken zijn beschermd. Aan beide zijkanten is een klem aanwezig en aan de lange kant een goede stevige hendel.

Het openen moet met 2 handen. Eenmaal open is er stevig materiaal in de bodem geplakt. Er zijn verschillende kleine foamstukjes met klittenband die los gehaald kunnen worden. Eenmaal los past de S4 mark3 er perfect in. Aan de deksel zijn 2 grote foam vlakken gemonteerd met klittenband, deze kun je verschuiven waar je wilt. Onder de S4 kunnen nog wat losse kabels en verder nog genoeg ruimte aan de lange kant.

1 stuk klittenband is niet op het foam geplakt, een productiefout. De rest van het klittenband zit er stevig op. Daar moet ik zelf nog wat lijm op doen. Op dit kleine puntje na, een hele goede aankoop die ik zeker aanbeveel.
