General
Streamline the set up time of your Pioneer XDJ-RX / RX2 controller and laptop with this Glide Style flight case from Odyssey. This protective case has an extendable laptop platform and is lined with cosy, foam rubber. The foam is placed at a slight angle so the buttons of your controller are within easy reach and this case also provides a cable duct to hide away your mess of cables and any small accessories. The Glide Style flight case is reinforced with metal and equipped with reassuringly solid handles and closures. Removing the front panel reveals 2U of rack space that sits under the controller and the base is fitted with wheels for easy transportation.

FOR: This unit is robust and versatile. Is well made and good quality. It comes with additional padding to accommodate your DJ things. Great idea to include the power amp in the unit but that makes it a bit bulky. You know the equipment is safe in this case. Great addition is the top shelf for my laptop and bits and pieces.
AGAINST: It is large and weighty but has wheels and the 19" "ears" for my amp did match the holes so had to do my own modification. Make sure you get a light weight amp or the whole thing may be impractical for a mobile DJ
Conclusion: Do I regret buying this - "No" it suits my purpose very well and happy with it

Zoals al gezegd is het een heel zwaar en groot koffer, maar met de wielen eronder is dit zeer goed behandelbaar. Enkel bovenop een tafel leggen vereist wel wat spierkracht. Voordeel van de extra units onder het toestel is wel dat je de koffer zo op tafel kunt leggen zonder het deksel eronder te moeten schuiven om je rug te sparen..
Enige minpunt dat ik nu al ondervonden heb is dat de 'schuif' voor laptop boven het scherm van een DDJ-RX2 komt als je de veiligheid hiervan opzet. Je kan de schuif wel helemaal tot op het randje schuiven, maar is niet echt betrouwbaar meer.
Ik heb hiervoor een laptop-stand bijgekocht zodat dit probleem direct verholpen is.
Enige minpunt dat ik nu al ondervonden heb is dat de 'schuif' voor laptop boven het scherm van een DDJ-RX2 komt als je de veiligheid hiervan opzet. Je kan de schuif wel helemaal tot op het randje schuiven, maar is niet echt betrouwbaar meer.

Redelijk groot product en aan de zware kant maar dit is normaal omdat het een grote case is. Het wel zeer handig met de wieltjes eronder, het is ook heel stevig. Zeker aangeraden

Mooie kist. Zeer handige ruimte voor het opslaan van extra versterker of microfoon unit.
Minpunt over de zwarte versie: De zwarte versie is duurder.
Op dit moment is de versie met de zilveren randen 142,- en de zwarte 189,-
En de prijs van de zilveren versie wilt nog wel eens veranderen.
Ik had eerst voor de zilveren versie besteld maar de levertijd werdt tekens opgeschoven.
Toen de zwarte versie beschikbaar was heb ik het direct omgeruild.
Handige super service van bax dat het kom omgeruild worden.
Voor de rest goede, mooie en praktische kisten.
