The Prime 4 is the first all-in-one DJ system by Denon DJ. It's a 4-deck, standalone DJ system with a multi-gesture, 10-inch touchscreen. No matter where you perform, the Prime 4 has everything you need to keep any audience captivated. It offers one of the most interactive experiences you can have with your digital music collection because you can literally touch, feel, play and move things around in real time using your fingers. The Prime 4 is suitable for events of any size and lightyears ahead of most of the DJ products available on the market today.
Prime 4: Unparalleled Creativity
Denon DJ's Prime series is renowned for its creative possibilities and the Prime 4 is certainly no exception. It has 8 performance pads per deck that can be used for functions like hot cues, juggle, remix tracks, roll and slicer to give your sets even more energy. The ability to timestretch and change keys are other things that make the Prime 4 so special. That means you can adjust the tempo and pitch of any track to make truly radical mixes.
'In the Zone'
A world first is the Prime 4's fully independent zone output. This allows DJs to play a completely different set in another location at the same time as they're playing a set where they currently are. This means DJs can rock the main room, while providing music for a chill-out area next door at the same time, for instance! With 4 USB inputs and an SD card reader on board, you're unlikely to run out of music any time soon. It's also possible to record your sets in real time.
What Else?
We've yet to mention the 14 built-in effects and the 3 knobs you can use to adjust them, or the smooth encoders and dual 'sweep FX and filter' on all channels. You can also make use of Denon's own StagelinQ for video control and SoundSwitch for controlling lighting as well as timecode and Resolume applications. Last but not least, the Denon DJ Prime 4 has a durable body that's built to withstand the rough and tumble of life on the road.

Na inbouwen van een 1tb harde schijf heb ik geen laptop of usb stick meer nodig en kan ik de controller echt helemaal stand alone gebruiken.
Qua functies doet hij niets onder voor Pioneer en Engine DJ werkt zelfs nog vele malen sneller dan Rekordbox
Waar Rekordbox een hele nacht nodig had om mijn gehele collectie te analyseren is dit met Engine DJ binnen 2 uur gebeurt.
Enige optie die is mis is het aanmaken van slimme playslisten, zoals in rekordbox wel nodig is.

Heb hem zelf gekozen als upgrade voor de Pioneer XDJ-RX, heb voor de Prime 4 gekozen omdat je 4-kanaals stand alone kan mixen wat op dit moment de enige in de markt is.
Overgaan naar Denon en Engine Prime heeft nog wel wat haken en ogen maar dat maakt dit product meer als goed.
Voordeel van Denon is dat ze samen met de klanten naar de vraag van verbetering krijgen en hierop updates maken.
Verder is het product compleet en kan je alles wat je wenst en ziet er ook heel gelikt uit.
Aanrader voor de dj's die 3 of meer kanaals willen mixen en geen laptop willen gebruiken.
