Measuring only 13.4 by 3.9 inches, the Hercules DJ Control Compact is an incredibly compact DJ controller. Despite its modest dimensions, it's remarkably comprehensive, however! Among other things, it features two jog wheels, a centrally located mixer section, and four practical pads per deck. Connect the DJ Control Compact to your Mac or Windows computer, install the free DJUCED 18 software, and you're ready to get started. In no time at all, you'll be mixing the tracks from your playlist. A USB cable and a manual are included with the Hercules DJ controller.
Possibilities of the DJ Control Compact
The Hercules DJ Control Compact boasts a range of different controls that operate various functions. You can use the two jog wheels to adjust the pitch of a track, navigate your playlist, or do some old-school scratching. The controller's square pads allow you to create loops, add effects and trigger samples. Reckon that's all? Think again! A practical shift button gives you access to the secondary functions of each of the eight pads, while the indispensable crossfader allows you to make smooth transitions between two tracks.
DJUCED 18 software
This Hercules DJ controller comes with a free DJUCED 18 software package, which you can simply download yourself. Like the DJ Control Compact itself, the software is surprisingly comprehensive. It even enables you to record your own mixes! DJUCED 18 is quite easy to work with, so you'll be happily mixing away in no time, even if you're used to working with different DJ software. Prefer working with a different package? No problem, the DJ Control Compact is compatible with virtually any popular DJ package, including Traktor and Virtual DJ. De Hercules DJ Contol Compact is het perfecte oefenmateriaal voor thuis. Zeker zijn prijs waard. Dankzij de knoppen als 'mode' en 'shift' is dit draaitafeltje verrijkt met zo veel functies. Het lijkt bijna onmogelijk wanneer ik er naar kijk dat je er zo veel mee kan doen. Dankzij zijn compacte vorm en lichte gewicht is hij ook zeer handig om overal mee naartoe te nemen zoals naar je vrienden of op de trein als er je een lange, saaie rit te wachten staat (neem je mix dan op met de recordknop). Hij voelt ook stevig en duur aan. Ook handig is dat hij compatibel is met zowat elke DJsoftware. Dit sukje Hardware van Hercules is zeker een aanrader. Puur genieten met deze controler en betaalbaar voor bijna iedereen!
