Pioneer's well-known DDJ-WeGO series now includes a fourth-generation model, the DDJ-WeGO4-K in black. This controller has everything the beginner DJ could possibly need to get the party started right. This device is a DJ controller without built-in speakers, so it needs to rely on a digital companion for proper amplification. It's compatible with Rekordbox DJ, but there's also a WeDJ app by Pioneer for your iPad or Android device.

Pioneer DDJ-WeGO4: Software Support

The DDJ-WeGO4-K's clear layout gives you a great overview of your tracks and helps you keep an eye on the waveforms and hot cues you've placed. If you'd rather dance at your party instead of being cooped up in your booth all night, then you can use the WeDJ app's auto mix function. If you prefer working with Rekordbox DJ, you can take advantage of a wide assortment of music management software possibilities to adjust the complete user interface to your own personal specifications.

Connecting options

Pioneer's DDJ-WeGO4-K is equipped with a port for your iPad or tablet so you can position your tablet computer easily. You have plenty of inputs and outputs on the rear of this fourth-generation WeGO, including two types of headphone sockets, a jack input for a microphone, and two RCA inputs for a set of speakers. Use the included USB cable to connect your laptop or your tablet; the latter can be hooked up to a separate USB port for charging while you're mixing.
