Pioneer DJ DDJ-SP1 DJ MIDI controller for Serato DJ software

The Pioneer DDJ-SP1 DJ MIDI controller is designed for DJs who like to work with Serato DJ. With this controller you can add more creativity and spontaneity to your sets, as it offers direct access to the four decks and all the other performance options of Serato DJ. It offers pre-mapped controls for the hot cues, sample decks, loop section and effect section. Add this DDJ-SP1 to your DJ set and you'll never have to touch the keyboard and mouse of your computer again.

Optimal union of software and hardware
Pioneer have closely cooperated with Serato in order to ensure that this controller can be seamlessly integrated into an existing DJ setup with laptop, timecode, vinyl and DJ mixer. It is a great experience to have a real, physical control under your fingers for each function and each control of all four decks of your software: eight cue points per deck, a synchronisable sample bank with 6 slots, auto loops, loop in and out, loop roll, and a slicer to divide and remix tracks. The sixteen touch-sensitive rubber pads of the DDJ-SP1 allow you to control the various functions. They are equipped with LED illumination, so you can always see what you are doing and which functions are active, even in dark club environments.

Slip mode
The DDJ-SP1 even has a button for the 'slip mode'. This practical function ensures that your track keeps playing silently during looping, reversing or scratching, so the track returns to the right playback position after you turn the effect off. As a result, your track remains synchronised and won't throw your audience off balance. This controller has a solid build with rugged and durable controls and an aluminium top. It is fully MIDI-programmable, so it can also be used in combination with other DJ software. The DDJ-SP1 can be used with Serato Video as well.

- Please note: the DDJ-SP1 is not suited to unlock Serato DJ. In order to do this, you need to use a device that is equipped with an approved sound card (the DDJ-SP1 does not have a sound card). A mixer such as the DJM-900SRT will serve, or a controller such as the DDJ-S1.
