The original DDJ-WeGO was just begging to be improved with enhanced innovations and extra features. Pioneer's fourth-generation DDJ-WeGO4-W is the result—its sleek design screams luxury while its new features give beginner DJs everything they could possibly need to get the party started. Pioneer have included Rekordbox DJ with this controller, and have even developed a corresponding DJ-app for your iPad or Android device called WeDJ that offers an auto mix function.
DDJ-WeGO4-W functionalities
With the DDJ-WeGO4-W, you can mix like a pro DJ, even if you've never even touched a DJ controller before! Its intuitive controls, smooth jog wheels surrounded by function controls enable you to take advantage of all its features with a flick of the wrist. Set up hot cues or samples, add effects from the WeDJ app or Rekordbox DJ software, and make perfect loops. Using the built-in track navigation and mixer section, you can make one track blend seamlessly into the next with ease. Until you've got the manual method under control, the integrated sync function will help you do this.
Connections and software
With various connection options for microphone, headphones, and speakers, the DDJ-WeGO4 can't function as a standalone device. It requires an iPad or computer to work. If you choose the first, place your tablet in the integrated port and use the intuitive WeDJ app. If you prefer more comprehensive functions and the ability to adjust the user interface, then Rekordbox DJ is your best bet, which incidentally also functions as music management software.

With the introduction of the DDJ-WeGO4, the app was available for the iPad, but now you can use it with your iPhone and enjoy ultimate mobility. Better yet, it's available as a free download until 9AM on November 29th!
