General
The purpose-designed Odyssey FZGSPDJ12W flight case provides a secure space for a 12" mixer and a pair of turntables - offering a tight and classic in-case setup. The high-grade, solid shell has been finished with stackable ball corners and sunken handles and latches, while the foam-lined interior can be customised as needed using the included foam strips, giving your gear a form-fitting ride.
The FZGSPDJ12W: Not Just Durable
This universal flight case is not just about a solid build and durability, but offers more thoughtful features like the V-cut front panel that can be removed for eased control access. Cable ports around the back and in the underside aid efficient cable management and an integrated vent regulates the temperature of your gear, while a slick, gliding laptop shelf has even been fitted to accommodate your tablet, keyboard, or other essential outboard gear. On the base, a considerate set of wheels has been fitted to ease transport and positioning.

This product is actually a five star, A1 rated product! Excellent workmanship. Real quality and very sturdy feel to all parts. Looks very crisp in black with - both polished & brushed chrome-effect metal accents - all well aligned.
Do note; this item is very heavy, but worth it if the delicate DJ gear inside is well protected; I'd say!
There are rollers on one end, so moving from place to place is certainly easier than without them.
Plenty of removable velcro-backed foam padding, so all gear can be snugly packed for zero movement of decks and mixer within their cavities.
The reason for the 4 star rating is purely personal (and could be possibly considered unfair). as the Odyssey FZGSPDJ12W case delivers everything (+ more), than the online product description states.
O.k, well why 4 stars then?
With minor tweaks (and no significant (if any at all), increase in external dimensions), this case could be transformed into a perfect and highly desirable unit for any 'DJ' who'd like to house 2 vinyl turntables, mixer and 2 CDJ's (instead of computer etc).
Spending hours online searching for such a (ready-made), product, without success - this Odyssey product seemed to be the closest to what was sought.
It's so close to perfect, and thus overall; am pretty pleased.
(Just a quick mention...The cut-away panel at the front of the case, could render access to forward-facing plug sockets and/or switches of mixers inaccessible - as it does my RMX Reloop).
If a modification could be made for future manufacturing, perhaps a wider cut-out might be considered.
Prior to purchase, I spoke with one of the sales staff on the (promptly answered),telephone.
All of my main questions were answered well enough by a knowledgeable and friendly 'assistant' for me to confidently place my first ever order with Bax.
True to their word, delivery was on time as promised.
Anyway,
Hopefully this review proves helpful to someone, even if just a little, as I very, very rarely leave reviews.
Due to being so impressed with the case, and also with the overall experience with Bax, thought I'd spontaneously take time out to provide complimentary feedback!!

Très bon flight case, matériaux de qualité, c'est du solide.
J'y ai placé 2 platines Reloop RP 7000 mk2 et une table Numark M6 usb sans que çà bouge d'un poil grâce aux nombreuses cales en mousse scratch ou autocollantes fournies, il reste de la place en haut de la table pour une carte son Reloop flux que j'empêche de bouger avec des bandes scratch plus longues que j'avais déjà. Sur la partie coulissante il y a l'ordi portable, une Korg electribe 2 et un AKAI MPK Mini MK3, le tout a portée de mains sans que çà gêne la manipulation des platines ou de la table.
Les roulettes sont un très gros plus vu le poids du flight en lui même ( 30 Kgs ), avec les 2 platines et la table dedans on est a 58 Kgs, autant dire que rouler au lieu de soulever est un plus pour le dos.
Seul point négatif je n'ai pas trouvé comment ouvrir le cache en V sur le devant, çà doit être tout bête, mais pas besoin avec la M6 usb donc je n'ai pas approfondi, çà enlève 1 étoile car pas de notice dans le flight.
Vous pouvez l'acheter les yeux fermés.
