For most of us, a turntable rouses feelings of nostalgia. The sound that is produced by vinyl is usually a lot warmer than that of CDs. Actually, this is made possible bydue to the imperfection of vinyl. Still, this warm sound is on the rise in people's homes as well as in professional environments. The AT-LP1240 is ideal for both situations, thanks to the USB output and a Phono preamp . which This makes it perfect for any kind of installation. The arm of the AT-LP1240-USB features an adjustable counterweight, so that it can be optimised for any stylus.
Transferring vinyl records to digital media can be a difficult job. Luckily, with the AT-LP1240-USB this is very easy. You can use the USB port to connect the turntable to your computer and then record your favourite records and convert them to MP3 or Wave format. The well-known audio program Audacity is included, so that you can get started straight away! Singles aren't a problem either, thanks to the variable speed of 33, 45 and 78 rpm.
