General
The Reloop RP-8000 MK2 is a hybrid direct-drive turntable. That means as well as being analogue, it also works digitally with Serato DJ Pro. To that end, it's equipped with phono, line and USB connectors as well as 4 controls for Serato DJ and 8 RGB pads.
RP-8000 MK2: assignable controls
The 8 illuminated RGB pads are not something you normally see on a turntable. They not only give you control over 7 different performance modes, but also 2 user modes with assignable functions. In Platter Play mode, they can be used to control the platter's pitch, for instance.
Powerful and complete
The RP-8000 MK2 has a unique, powerful, quartz-driven, upper-torque, direct-drive motor which allows an ultra-pitch of up to 50%! It comes complete with a slipmat, LED needle light, counterweight, phono RCA cable with grounding, USB cable, power cable and an instruction manual.

Mijn reden is dat ik graag een naald gebruik die tot 22.000 Hertz gaat, daar ik de draaitafel als particulier gebruik voor afspelen van LP's. op mijn Pioneer-vsx-lx505- surround versterker met de verschillende dolby surround geluidsinstellingen. Het stereo signaal wordt hier door ruimtelijk weer geven op mijn 4x Sony SS-X70ED luisprekers.
Ik heb de firmware van de speler nog niet geüpdatete en knoppen voor DJ gebruik functioneren nog niet.|
Wel is het prettige dat het toerental nauwkeurig is af te stellen en bij te regelen.
Afhankelijk van de persing van de LP klinken de meesten alsof ze pas op Cd-kwaliteit zijn op genomen zijn .
