The Meinl HDJ3-XL Black River djembe has been crafted out of a single piece of mahogany and features a special wood-carved finish for increased grip as well as a hand-picked, 13-inch goatskin drumhead and a traditional rope tuning system that's in line with Malian tradition and ensures optimum tension. The mahogany build, natural skin and authentic rope tuning also combine to shape warm sound and complete a particularly solid djembe for advanced percussionists.
