General

A djembe is very fun to play, both by yourself and as part of a group. It's no surprise that the instrument is steadily gaining popularity. Toca presents the excellent SFDJ-12K Synergy Freestyle Rope Tuned 12-inch djembe - it's affordable, weather-resistant and lightweight. The latter feature is mostly thanks to its synthetic shell, that saves weight without negatively impacting the sound of this drum - you won't be disappointed when you hear the beautiful lows and highs it produces. The batter head is made of goat skin and the shell has a colourful Kente Cloth finish, both of which add to this instruments traditional look. If you're looking for that great West-African percussion sound, then you can't go wrong with this 12-inch djembe.
