The latter feature is mostly thanks to its synthetic shell, that saves weight without negatively impacting the sound of this drum - you won't be disappointed when you hear the beautiful lows and highs it produces. The batter head is made of goat skin and the shell has a colourful Kente Cloth finish, both of which add to this instruments traditional look.
