General
The Toca TF2DJ-12S Freestyle II Rope Tuned djembe Spirit 12-inch is very suitable for playing outdoors. Modern techniques have been used for this instrument, for example a bowl made of plastic. As this is the largest component, it means that the weight of the djembe has remained low. Another advantage, compared to wood, is that it is insensitive to temperature changes and moisture. The synthetic skin does not stretch or dry out and, thanks to the rope with traditional weave pattern, it remains well-tensioned. The colourful finish is named Spirit, featuring the colours of the Rastafari movement: red, yellow and green.
Toca TF2DJ-12S: sleek design
On the Freestyle II djembe, Toca has several patents pending. This is because the shell design is particularly strong, but also delivers an excellent sound. This model with a field diameter of 12 inches and a height of 61 cm has deep bass tone and a sharp, high slap. This djembe is great for playing solo, with a group or with a band. Indoors or outdoors, with this one it's all no problem.
