General

The Djembé, originally a West African instrument, is on the rise. Not least because of all the percussion clubs. The Toca Percussion TSSDJ-SBO djembe Black Onyx 8 inch is a compact instrument of over 40 cm high. The sound is high, but full and rich. To achieve this sound, Toca has chosen mahogany wood, with real goatskin for the beating skin. Toca lets the wood grow in a nature-friendly way on a special plantation. The wood is then treated with twenty layers of teak oil, which protects the wood and keeps it in good condition for a long time.
