The advantages of the DMX-512 protocol, with which you can control lighting, are numerous. There is really only one disadvantage to using DMX-512: it is quite difficult to control. In order to solve this issue, Showtec have released this Easy Fade 36, a DMX lighting controller that is easy to use! It is specifically designed for use in places where a lot of different people need to be able to control the lighting (in schools, churches, etc.).

The Showtec Easy Fade 36 lighting control is easy to use, but does have two banks with 18 DMX channels each. These channels can be separately controlled with the faders, whereby each bank has a separate master fader and there is one grand master fader as well. Nearly anyone can work with this DMX lighting controller.

Heb het product nu een tijdje in huis, nog niet echt gebruikt tijdens een show, maar tijdens het programmeren voelt de showtec goed aan. Ik gebruik hem als 'dmx-in' en laat pc-software de faders programmeren, zo kan ik allerlei functies eronder zetten.
Het product lijkt mij zeer geschikt voor kleine zaaltjes met een dimmer of een paar Led-parren, deze tafel is door iedereen te bedienen.
De afwerking mag wel wat netter, hier en daar vallen me wel dingen op die ik kwa netheid wat mooier had verwacht. Overigens maken deze puntjes niks uit voor de functionaliteit.
Wat me wel zeer tegenviel was de levering van bax-shop.nl , overal lopen ze te showen met voor 22:00 besteld morgen in huis. Ik heb het product op een maandag bestelt voor 12 uur sochtends, en kreeg het product pas woensdag, dit ligt niet aan PostNL want de track en trace code was niet eerder beschikbaar.
Ik woon wel letterlijk aan de andere kant van Nederland, en had het product niet met haast nodig, toch vind ik het slecht dat ze hun belofte niet waar maken. Geef dan aan tijdens de bestelprocedure, dat de levering langer kan duren als men in de provincie Groningen, Drenthe of Friesland woont
