This ultra practical yet compact DMX controller can be set up indoors or outdoors to kit out your rig with sixty-four DMX channels. The BeamZ DMX-512 mini-controller boasts an IP20 classification, meaning that it can handle the elements no matter where you're working, while the internal rechargeable battery sets up any show with up to eight hours of show-time. Of course, you can also just use the included mains power supply. Hook it up to your lights and effects via an XLR DMX cable and tweak your settings via the clear LED display.

Ik heb een Ayra Compar Kit Jr setje om de band uit te lichten in kroegen en kleine zaaltjes. Nadeel van die set is dat er geen mogelijkheid op zit om elk spotje statisch in te stellen. Dat kan wel via DMX, met 18 kanalen. Ik zocht dus een zo goedkoop mogelijke controller voor 18 kanalen zonder snufjes. Dat is deze Beamz. Hij doet wat ik wil, elk spotje kan ik apart regelen en de instellingen zijn simpel op te slaan in scenes. Past in de tas van de Ayra set, dus gaat nu altijd mee. Wel met een DMX verlengkabel, want anders kan ik er niet bij als de lampjes hoog op de stander staan.
