We're all familiar with DMX mixers - big, small, for hands-on lighting control... However, you probably won't use them for controlling 256 lamps (or parameters), not even with banks. If you do, Sunlite's Easy Stand Alone Slesa-U9 DMX interface is perfect for the job. Use your own computer (desktop, laptop) with the included software to design a complete light show and let the interface translate your USB data to DMX. The interface also works as a stand-alone device. When you upload your show to the interface via the USB cable, you can use the interface as a DMX controller by means of an optional adapter.
It's good to realise that this product (thanks to the software) cannot be compared to that small DMX controller behind your local pub's bar. With Easy Stand Alone and ESA2, you're able to create the most energetic, highly-detailed light shows. Although the package is quite accessible, it offers virtually endless possibilities. Learn the ins and outs in a couple of hours and you'll be able to create the most stunning shows that will blow you away, certainly coming from such a compact and clear DMX interface.
Please note: the software can be downloaded from nicolaudie's website.
