Lumidesk designs innovative DMX software for those looking for an easy way to control lighting via their PC or laptop. Without sacrificing options and functions, Lumidesk has become known as the maker of the most affordable DMX software.
Lumidesk software
The software has a Windows-style design and makes use of drag-and-drop fixture patching, 3D visualiser, and an automatic effects generator. Especially the latter allows you to create professional-looking effects with great ease. As such, you can let moving heads make figures and adjust them to your preferences. You can also let LED PARs project rainbow-like programs which wouldn't be possible with a standard DMX controller.
It's also possible to control your lighting via an external MIDI or DMX controller with the help of a practical tool that picks up the MIDI and DMX signal and immediately links it to the preferred function. All in all, this is a highly complete software package at a very attractive price.
Lumidesk Ultimate interface
With 512 DMX channels, that can be extended to 1,024 channels via the DMX input, Lumidesk Ultimate is the most extensive version available. Full 3D visualisation, MIDI triggering, an SD slot, and an infrared sensor make this software the ultimate package. The interface has 3-pin and 5-pin male XLR connectors, one is a fixed output while the other one can be configured as both DMX input as well as output.

Wrote the following about Lumidesk Ultimate DMX software package
Na 8 weken besloot men bij Bax Shop niet langer te wachten op het resultaat van de reparatie, maar een compleet nieuwe naar mij te sturen. Uiteindelijk dus toch SUPER opgelost door de Bax Shop.
Lumidesk werkt bij mij al jaren zeer stabiel, voorheen nooit problemen mee gehad.
Ook software is super gebruiksvriendelijk. Controller kost natuurlijk nogal wat, maar als je dan altijd de juiste/snelle lichtcontrole hebt is dit dus zeer fijn. Echt een aanrader dus.
