This P501TW double bass drum pedal from Mapex' 500 series is ideal for drummers who are just taking their first steps in learning this technique. It's also very suitable for advanced players, of course, as it's a fine pedal with a very friendly price tag. As you would have expected from Mapex, this pedal is a high-quality, durable product.
The pedal is fitted with a single chain drive. The reversible beaters give the drummer the possibility to switch between two different timbres: the hard plastic slap or the softer sound of felt. Don't be afraid that this pedal will slip, as it is equipped with two sturdy, retractable floor spikes that will keep it in place. The included carrying bag is the proverbial icing on the cake.
