This double bass drum pedal is the new and improved version of the extremely popular Iron Cobra HP900PSWN pedal, and offers some exciting innovative features. This pedal is suitable for right-handed drummers and comes in a hard case.

A number of things were changed in comparison to the Iron Cobra's predecessor in order to increase stability; the bass plate and frame are wider and stronger, which you can both see and feel. In addition, the foot plate is attached in a special way to improve the durability and stability of the pedal, preventing any lateral movement after extensive use over a longer period of time. The right pedal is attached to the bass drum edge with the Para Clamp II Pro, a rubber clamp with a sturdy, powerful grip that doesn't leave any scratches. The pedal action is also improved, thanks to the renewed Lite Sprocket (from the Cobra series) which doesn't only improve the pedal action, but also the overall playability. The Power-Strike Cobra beater, which has also been improved, gives a rich, full-bodied sound. Another improvement you might not notice directly is the Swivel Spring Tight, which allows the spring to swivel forwards and backwards, keeping it straight at all times to reduce the resistance and give it a natural, more comfortable feel.

Rolling Glide or Power Glide?

You're probably wondering what the difference is between a Power Glide and a Rolling Glide pedal. With a Power Glide pedal, the cam (the rotating part) accelerates the beater just before it hits the drumhead, which increases the action. This is a particularly practical feature for pop and rock drummers. If you prefer drum bass pedals that offer a more even speed, the Rolling Glide is a good option.
