General

Tama's HP900RWN Iron Cobra Rolling Glide double bass drum pedal is perfect for drummers looking for a pedal with a beater that doesn't automatically speed up at the last moment before it strikes the drum. This pedal is suitable for right-footed drummers and comes in its own hard case to keep it safe during transport.

Tama HP900RWN Iron Cobra Rolling Glide double bass drum pedal

For even greater stability, Tama made a few changes for the HP900RWN. The base plate and frame are both broader than before and the frame has been reinforced too. The Swivel Spring Tight ensures that the spring remains straight for the most efficient, smoothest and lightest action possible. The footboard has been lengthened and is now connected to the bass plate using a method that improves the amount of control the player experiences. The pedal on the right attaches to your bass drum hoop using the Para Clamp II Pro which uses a newly-designed rubber grip that is extremely secure and won't damage your bass drum. The Iron Cobra Rolling Glide double bass drum pedal also uses an improved version of the Lite Sprocket (found in the Speed Cobra series) that offers a lighter, more controllable feel. Then there's the Power-Strike Cobra beater that has more attack than previous versions and provides a better sense of control too.

Rolling Glide or Power Glide?

If you'd like to know more about the differences between the Rolling Glide and Power Glide pedals, read on. Unlike Rolling Glide pedals, the beater on Power Glide pedals gets extra power and speed from the cam on its way to the drum head giving you a more powerful sound. This can be useful for drummers who play music like rock and pop. If you prefer a more even speed and slightly more control, a Rolling Glide pedal may be a more suitable option for you.

Very solid bass drum pedal, feels professional and is like an extension of your foot. The technology that Tana have put into this makes it stand out from the other pedals at this price range, making this an obvious choice for quality. Tama HP900RWN Iron Cobra Rolling Glide double bass drum pedal

Wrote the following about Tama HP900RWN Iron Cobra Rolling Glide double bass drum pedal
