General

Wincent is a Swedish manufacturer known for their rugged birch percussion sticks. Now, they make brushes too. This pair of Heavy W-40H brushes have metal rods and a sturdy rubber handle for a powerful attack and excellent rebound. You can retract the rods and use the spread lock to adjust the spread width to three different settings for more or less focus in your tone. Finally, the black markings on the ends of these brushes make them easy to spot in your stick bag.

Prima brushes van degelijke kwaliteit. Zoals alle metalen brushes geven ook deze brushes lekker op je snairdrumvel af. Ze voelen wat topzwaar aan in vergelijking met de kunsstof LP brushes die ik eerder had maar dat is een kwestie van even wennen.

De brushes zijn inderdaad stevig en geven meer volume op bekkens en toms. Handvat voelt wat plakkerig.

Ik gebruik de brushes met een cajon en een hihat. Ze geven op beide een mooie sound en je kan de klank op veel verschillende manieren veranderen door afstellen of schuin spelen.

Super goede brushes, voelen lekker stevig tijdens het spelen. Geven een goede sound.
Ook een erg fijne feature is dat de brushes afstelbaar zijn naar jouw preferences.
Het enige nadeel is dat de brushes soms afgeven op een coated snare.
