Every drummer wants a solid foundation for their cymbals, and of course the stand height needs to be fully adjustable as well. As such, high-quality cymbal stands and/or boom arms are essential elements in any drum set.
For starters, you'll want to make sure that the cymbal stand and/or boom arm is (more than) heavy enough to for the weight it needs to carry. Furthermore, for the best quality you'll want stands that also equipped with rugged double-braced legs and large anti-slip feet. Finally, it's vital that all of the cymbal stand parts can be adjusted extensively.
