Cymbal arms are often preferred by drummers with a sizeable setup to the traditional cymbal stand. This is because you can incorporate a cymbal arm (aka boom arm) into your setup in almost infinite ways. This particular model, the Pearl CH-930/B, features a Uni-Lock tilter that provides options to infinitely adjust the position of your cymbal. You can also place the cymbal arm in the vertical, 7/8" inch (approx. 22mm) diameter tube without any problems. This tube is equipped with a memory lock, so your cymbals can always be built back up in the same position!
