Gretsch CT1-R444-SWG Catalina Club 2014 Satin Walnut Glaze: mahogany shells

The shells of this four-part rock set are made of 7-ply mahogany, a rugged wood type that is often used for instruments due to its warm sound characteristics and excellent resonating qualities. The 30-degree bearing edges of the Catalina Club 2014 shells increase the resonating ability of the mahogany, delivering that unique Gretsch sound. The CT1-R444-SWG shell set is supplied with single-ply Remo drumheads.

This Catalina Club 2014 Satin Walnut Glaze rock shell set sports a number of new features, including its Catalina mini lugs. The hardware is made of durable metal; it is evident that Gretsch value high-quality materials. The floor tom is equipped with three adjustable legs, which are fitted with anti-slip rubber caps, and the shell set is supplied with a single tom holder, which can be mounted on a cymbal stand.
