Gretsch has modelled this Gretsch Drums RN1-E823-SB Renown Maple Satin Black kit after their own flagship, the USA Custom Range. The three-piece shell set features the typical Gretsch look, sound and feel.

The shells of this three-piece shell set are made of 6-ply North American maple, ensuring a warm sound, and equipped with modern hardware, including the G1 suspension mount (for tom mounting), the G1 ITS mounting lug and G1 TR wingnuts. The Gretsch Drums RN1-E823-SB Renown Maple Satin Black is supplied with Remo USA drumheads and, in the style of Gretsch's USA and New Classic series, the shells are adorned with a 2013 Renown badge.
