This three-part shell set, the Gretsch Drums RN1-E823-SOP Renown Maple 2013 Silver Oyster, is based on Gretsch's flagship, the USA Custom Range. The silver-coloured set offers not just the authentic Gretsch look, but more importantly, the fabulous famous Gretsch sound as well!

Gretsch Drums RN1-E823-SOP Silver Oyster: tradition meets modern technology

The shells of the RN1-E8223-SOP set are made of North American maple, a wood type that ensures a warm sound. In this Gretsch Renown Maple 2013 shell set, tradition meets modern technology, as its traditional shells are equipped with modern hardware, including a G1 suspension mount for your tom, G1 ITS mounting lugs and G1 TR wingnuts. The RN1-E823-SOP set is equipped with Remo drumheads and, to add a finishing touch to the overall appearance of the Silver Oyster shell set, a special 2013 Renown badge adorns the exterior of the shells, following a tradition set by the Gretsch USA and New Classic series.
