This three-part Gretsch Drums RN1-R643-SOP Renown Maple Silver Oyster shell set offers a perfect balance between the genuine Gretsch sound, a rugged construction and great looks. The 6-ply North American maple shells are equipped with ultra-modern hardware and adorned with a 2013 Renown badge, following a tradition set by Gretsch's USA and New Classic series.

Gretsch has modelled this three-part shell set after its USA Custom Range. The shells are made of North American maple, a wood type that, aided by the 30-degree bearing edges of the shells, ensures great resonance and a full, warm sound. The 13-inch tom and the 16-inch floor tom are fitted with Remo Emperor Clear drumheads, while the 24-inch bass drum is equipped with a Remo Powerstroke 3 bass drum head.

Hardware

Gretsch is known for using high-grade materials. The Gretsch Drums RN1-R643-SOP Renown Maple shell set, equipped with modern, exceptionally durable hardware, is no exception. The die-cast hoops for the tom and floor tom keep your drumheads neatly tuned, and the Renown Maple Silver Oyster set also includes a G1 suspension mount, G1 ITS lugs and G1 TR clamps with wingnuts.
