Ludwig's Signet 105 series was introduced to celebrate the company's 105th anniversary. Each shell set in this line offers a highly professional sound at a remarkably low price. The only catch (if you can even call it that) is that drummers will have to perform the final stages of assembly themselves. The shells, hoops, heads, tension rods, lugs and brackets of this American-made drum kit are all delivered unassembled. However, thanks to a dash of Ludwig ingenuity, assembling the kit is an absolute breeze. Assembling the LSS240XLA

The LSS240XLA is a Terabeat kit, which means it's a four-piece that consists of a 22" bass drum, 16" floor tom, and 10 and 12" toms. C'est une vraie Ludwig, la grande classe quoi. Bon moi, suis plutôt Rock donc PEARL (j'en ai 2), mais je cherchais une batterie pour les clubs plus petits. Niveau look, ça jette grave niveau son aussi. Petit bémol: la grosse-caisse manque un peu de chaleur et de personnalité. Il faut passer un bon moment pour la régler. Prenez une peau EVANS avec bain d'huile ça donnera une belle chaleur.

Autre bémol, mais pas la batterie cette fois: le service client BAX. Les prix sont parfaits, rien à dire mais le service clients est extrêmement difficile à joindre voir impossible et ils ne lisent pas très bien les e-mails. J'avais demandé une autre adresse de livraison bien à l'avance et ils n'en n'ont même pas tenu compte.
