General
That Tama is good at experimenting with materials and sounds is proven once again by this shellset. The set consists of shells made of a combination between walnut and birch. The birch wood is on the outside of the shells. This type of wood provides a good dose of bright attack and punch. Walnut, on the inside of the kettle, actually provides more warmth. This Tama WBR30RS-CCO Starclassic Walnut/Birch shellset consists of a 12 x 8-inch tom, a 14 x 14-inch floortom and a 20 x 14-inch bass drum. The entire set features an attractive Charcoal Onyx wrap.
Tama WBR30RS-CCO Starclassic Walnut/Birch hybrid
The toms, which are 6 mm thick each, are made of 4 outer layers of birch and two inner layers of walnut. The bass drum is 8 mm thick and features 5 layers of birch and two layers of walnut. The 12-inch tom features the Star-Cast Mounting system and a Quick-Lock bracket. The cymbals are all equipped with Die-Cast hoops and Evans drumheads. Also included are the floortop feet and one-off Tama MTH1000S Single Tom Holder.

- Please note that this is only the three-piece Tama shellset. The hardware such as cymbal stands, snare drum stand, bass drum pedal and stool are not included, as well as a cymbal set and a snare drum.
