Evans EHSP-1-P421C Sensory Percussion eKit System

General

With the Evans EHSP-1-P421C Sensory Percussion eKit System, you can add electronic capabilities to your own drum kit without compromising that familiar playing feel. This pack is a conversion system, so it does not include a complete drum kit with drums and stands. You’ll receive four drum sensors, two cymbal sensors, a hi-hat sensor, an EVANS Portal Audio Interface and a licence for Sunhouse Sensory Percussion 2. The EVANS dB One cymbals are also included: a 20-inch ride, an 18-inch crash and a set of 14-inch hi-hats. The combination of hardware and software captures the nuances of your playing and translates them into dynamic, expressive sounds.

Play with mesh heads or acoustic drumheads

You decide how to use this system: for low-volume practice, as an extension of your acoustic kit or as a hybrid setup. The drum sensors are optimised for EVANS dB mesh heads and acoustic drumheads, but also work with most other mesh and acoustic heads. You mount them on standard hooping on snares, toms and bass drums. The cymbal and hi-hat sensors are designed for the included EVANS dB One cymbals and are also compatible with most standard acoustic cymbals and hi-hats. They fit onto standard cymbal and hi-hat stands. For connection and installation, you’ll receive, amongst other things, seven TRS cables, sixteen pick-up elements and an EMAD bass drum adapter.

From ready-made presets to your own sounds

With Sunhouse Sensory Percussion 2, you have access to a growing library of acoustic and electronic presets. Prefer to create your own sound? Then use your own samples and ideas as a starting point. This allows you to practise quietly, record or perform on stage using the same system. The software requires Windows 10 version 1909 or later, or macOS 10.14 or later, with an Intel i5, Apple M1 or AMD multicore processor. You’ll need at least 8 GB of RAM; 16 GB is recommended. A USB-C cable and a power adaptor with US, EU and UK plug options are included. The bundle also comes with a matching pair of limited-edition ProMark Sensory Percussion ActiveGrip drumsticks.
