General
With the Kelly Shu SHU-FZE901 Flatz, you’re getting a clever shock mount designed specifically for boundary microphones on the bass drum. Thanks to this solution, your Sennheiser E 901 hangs free from the drumhead or damping material, positioned exactly where you want to capture the sound best. The solid rubber isolation rings provide professional damping and minimise unwanted vibrations or contact noise. A major advantage is that the microphone remains securely inside the kick drum during transport, without you having to worry about it shifting or getting damaged. Installation is quick and easy; you simply use your kick drum’s existing tension mechanism and you’ll be done in a matter of minutes.
