How great is it to have a drummer in the house? Of course, there is the slight disadvantage that practising quietly isn't really an option. Even electronic drum kits provide some contact noise, especially when the bass drum beater hits the trigger. As the vibrations will travel through floors and walls, everyone will still hear when a drummer is playing. That's why KAT Percussion released this special bass drum beater, which decreases the amount of contact noise that's created. By now, you'll have noticed that it looks suspiciously like a tennis ball... But that's entirely intentional, of course. You can use this beater for acoustic drum kits as well, though it's primarily intended for electronic drum kits with a hard bass drum trigger. This bass drum beater will fit on any regular bass drum pedal.
