General
Gibraltar makes high-quality hardware for every type of drummer, ranging from the enthusiastic beginner to the professional that's always on the road. This specific product, the Gibraltar SC-GCSQCMTLA will probably benefit the latter category the most.
This is a large T-leg for your drum rack, but it has one big advantage: it is fitted with Gibraltar's Quick Clamps. It has two hinged clamps: one to receive the down tube of your rack, and one that holds the foot itself. Both of these clamps are a breeze to operate. The top clamp uses a big T-handle, and the bottom clamp is mounted at an angle, so you can easily reach it and tighten it with a drum key!
Because of this practical design, drummers who perform many gigs and are often on the road will save a lot of time setting up and tearing down their drum rack!
