The importance of buying a good drum stool is often underestimated. After all, drumming on a drum stool that is too hard, too high or too unstable, often leads to persistent pain in the lower back. Ahead researched this and used the results of this research to design the SPG-BL4. This drum stool has a Spinal Glide seat and features Ergokinectic™ technology, making your sitting position very well supported. The velour seat is split to allow your tailbone to move freely between the two seat halves. This ensures that there is no pressure on your lower back, so it remains relaxed while drumming. A rotating screw makes it easy to adjust the height of the seat. The whole is supported by four double-legged legs.

Wrote the following about Ahead SPG-BL-4 Spinal-G drum throne with black covering

Deze kruk had van mij wel 5 sterren kunnen krijgen, alleen geef ik er 4 vanwege de hardware. De zitting is voor mij perfect. De twee losse delen zorgen voor een erg comfortabel en stevige zit. Ik heb wel eens last van mijn rug, maar dan lukt drummen met deze kruk alsnog prima. Qua zitting dus 5 sterren. De hardware (onderstel) is 2 of 3 sterren waard. Het is niet solide en rammelt als je de kruk optilt. Dit moet gewoon niet kunnen bij een kruk van deze prijsklasse. Heb zelf onderstel vervangen door een DW 9000, dat is een prima combinatie.
