Despite what its name might suggest, the drum throne's importance as part of a drum kit is often underestimated. As any good drum teacher will tell you, your posture while drumming is very important. Sitting in an awkward position can result in back problems or even in losing the will to drum.

Konig and Meyer is a German company that have specialised in producing essential music accessories (like sheet music stands and microphone stands) over the course of 65 years. They also have an excellent reputation where it comes to making drum thrones. The Picco drum throne is a great stool for both beginners and advanced players. It features a unique clamp for extra ease of use and easy height adjustment in steps of 1.5 centimetres. The height of the seat can be adjusted between 485 and 680 mm.

Safe, secure, strong and stable

The compact throne features double braced legs for added strength and stability, unfolded they have a diameter of 54 centimetres. The seat is made of durable anti-slip faux leather, is 30 centimetres across and very comfortable. Naturally, the legs can be folded so that the stool will take up little space - great for transportation and storage. All in all, this is an excellent drum throne.
