For drummers who like to exert a lot of energy on their drum kit, Meinl has designed the Heavy Drumsticks. In fact, everything about these drumsticks contributes something to their long durability. With a length of 16.5 inches, the stick is longer and also thicker, so it fits nicely in the hand. The most fragile part of a drumstick is also reinforced; the shoulder is a bit thicker and can therefore handle a lot. Heavy hickory was used to produce the SB108, and the acorn-shaped tip is also made of wood. The sticks have a 5A shape.
