The Meinl SB137 Hybrid 9A is the ideal compromise between a 5A and a 5B stick. The thickness of the 9A is in between, so you get the added power of the 5B while playing subtly just as easily as with a 5A. However, this is iet the most special thing about this stick. This is because the SB137 Hybrid 9A has a hybrid tip. This means it is a cross between a drop and barrel shape. This gives you a sound with a lot of definition but also more body. So on every level, this is the most ideal, versatile stick for any drummer.

Wrote the following about Meinl Stick & Brush SB137 Hybrid 9A Drumsticks

J'avais besoin de passer sur une taille légèrement en dessous du 5B et cette baguette fait parfaitement l'affaire. Malheureusement la version érable est trop légère. Je pense que la version en Hickory sera plus polyvalente.
