General

These ProMark Rebound 5AB Lacquered FireGrain drumsticks feature a special treatment. This FireGrain treatment gives the hickory wood extra strength, allowing the sticks to last longer. The sticks are especially suitable for styles where finesse and speed are important. In terms of thickness, these sticks lie exactly between 5A and 5B sticks; for players where a 5A feels just a bit too thin and a 5B just a bit too firm. The weight of these sticks is backwards, making it a bit easier to get a bounce (hence the name "ReBound"). To achieve this, the shoulder of the stick is a bit longer than regular sticks.
