Ideal for the heavy-hitters who feel like a standard set of 2Bs go just too far, this pair of Vic Firth American Classic X5B Vic Grip drumsticks are based on a set of 5Bs, so they have the same familiar diameter, taper and tip but measure half an inch longer. This might not sound like much, but that extra half an inch gives these sticks a heavier feel and pushes the centre of gravity further forward, making it much easier to pull maximum power and volume out of your strike. This small tweak also gives you more range and, since these are Vic Grip drumsticks, they've been treated with a special coating to ensure a more firm grip, so you can fully focus on your technique.
