Wincent W-5B Hickory Drumsticks (5B)

These Wincent 5B drumsticks have been brought to shape using a sharpening stone: a unique process that instils them with a level of durability that's 'as close to metal as wood can get'. Sealed with a layer of specialised wax, the chance of splintering has also been considerably reduced, resulting in a stick that can take a fair beating and a shoulder able to withstand hefty rim-shots. The hickory wood construction, standard 5B shape, and tear-drop tip has a classic response and timbre no matter the playing style, and since this bundle sets you up with four pairs of sticks, any drummer is fully kitted out for a good while.

Wincent: Swedish Quality

Wincent was founded in 1992 when Swedish drummer Dan Nylén wasn't too impressed with his rods, so just decided he'd have to make them himself. With the help of his father's experience as a carpenter and a little garage space, he started to produce his first bespoke sticks. In honour of his father, Nylén took on his Dad's middle name as his drumstick moniker: Wincent. Ever since, Wincent has been producing drumrods and sticks with a focus on durability, using an ecologically conscious approach.
