This is a 7A model drum stick made of hickory with a round, wooden tip. The 7As are a little thinner and lighter than the 5A's, which are the most popular size. These aren't just any 7A sticks, however. They feature Zildjian's special DIP coating on the grip area, which provides you with a comfortable, slightly tacky surface for enhanced grip.
