General

The virtual effect XILS Lab LX 122 Premium is a Leslie simulation. Especially with organ sounds, it gives a nice swell, one that was mechanical at the time, by the way, in a cabinet that was rather clunky and heavy. Then this software version is a lot easier. You can set a lot, like the 'drum' (woofer) and the 'horn' (tweeter), and in terms of sound, even the acoustics on the inside of such a cabinet are included in the calculations. With all these parameters, you can in fact construct your own Leslie, something that people in the past could only dream of.
