General

These BOOTZILLAS 5-String Medium to Heavy 45-130 bass strings are the signature set of legend Bootsy Collins. The strings are wound with stainless steel and feature DR's proprietary K3™ coating, which protects against sweat, dirt, moisture and hand acids. This makes them last longer without losing their tone. The hexagonal core gives the strings a slight stiffness for extra tight harmonics, while the winding delivers a bright, powerful and "crunchy" sound that cuts effortlessly through the band. Perfect for bassists looking for both durability and character in their sound.
