Ik had deze snaren eerst gebruikt om m'n bas een vol octaaf lager mee te stemmen.
Ging wel, maar was wat zwabberig qua spanning.
Toen maar omhooggestemd naar F#BEA, en dat werkt prima, ook op een 34" mensuur.
Tis qua snaarapanning strak genoeg voor sludgy doommetalriffs.

Gelukkig zijn de twee dikste snaren tapered, zodat ze over de brugzadels passen, al moet je wel het snaargat in de brug ietsje uitvijlen/boren om de dikste snaar erdoor te krijgen.
Evenals de topkam, die moet ook uitgevijld worden om de snaar te laten passen.
Maar het klinkt in elk geval behoorlijk indrukwekkend en je voelt de lage tonen meer dan dat je ze hoort.

Goede klank.
Bij 34" bas is G0 het laagste haalbaar om bespeelbaar te zijn.
Rekening houden met het uitvijlen van de topkam.
Ook opletten bij brug waar snaren doorheen gaan, dikste snaar is +-4,5mm.

Uitstekende snarenset voor experimentele, extra lage tunings.
De snaren hebben een helder piano-achtig geluid.
