Jeffrey Arthur Berlin, better known as Jeff Berlin, is an American jazz fusion bassist. After seeing The Beatles at the age of 14 he took up the bass, later studied at Berklee College of Music and has never stopped playing since! He collaborated with Cort to design this Cort Jeff Berlin Rithimic NAT, a relatively simple, vintage-style electric bass guitar that is highly effective.

Rithimic NAT - wood types and sound

This bass guitar has an alder body that produces a full and lively sound while the spalted maple and padouk top adds extra sparkle as well as plenty of character to its looks. The Canadian hard maple neck also plays its part in producing the clear, strong sound and the rosewood fretboard brings a touch of warmth to the proceedings too. The end result is a highly satisfying, well-balanced bass tone.

Features

Two Bartolini Jeff Berlin Custom Soapbar pickups are responsible for delivering the rich tone palette to an amplifier. In keeping with the rest of the instrument, these simple, passive pickups do a wonderful job and the resulting sound is perfect for almost any type of music. Hipshot Ultralight Tuners ensure excellent tuning stability but the icing on the cake has to be the Babicz FCH4 bridge. It's designed for optimal contact so no sound will be lost.
