Mashing up timeless Precision style with modern upgrades, the Fender Player II Precision Bass boasts the stable build of a solid alder body sealed in a high-gloss paint-job to complete the classic, mouth-watering look. And, to ease fret-navigation - all the way from the nut to the body - the backside of the maple neck has been given a comfy Modern-C profile and coated with non-stick satin-gloss.
The Fender Player II Precision Bass: Modern Ergonomics Meets Growling P-Bass Sound
The high-grade slab rosewood fretboard has been given a familiar 9.5 inch radius and loaded with a set of twenty medium-jumbo frets, giving the playability a further modern boost, while the P-style body shape still bears contours in all the right places to complete the snug and ergonomic feel. Mounted right in the middle of the pickguard, the Player Series Alnico 5 Split Single-Coil pickup spoons out unmistakable growling warmth and power which can be varied at will via the single tone and volume pots to voice everything from rock and indie to funk and jazz.

Since this is a next-gen Player II Series bass, the hardware load-out has been fully freshened up with high-grade components. The 5-Screw Vintage-Style 4-Saddle Standard Bridge doesn't just lay down a solid and stable foundation but ensures excellent string-to-body vibrational transfer, while the full set of Standard Open-Gear machine heads guarantee accurate and reliable tuning, polishing off what might be the ultimate playing partner.
