Soms heeft u maar één snaar nodig in plaats van een hele set. Daarom heeft Ernie Ball speciaal voor u ook losse snaren voor elektrische basgitaar in het assortiment. Deze flatwound snaar heeft een dikte van .070 inch waardoor het onder andere geschikt is als D-snaar. De snaar is vervaardigd van een platte verchroomde stalen wikkeling rond een stalen kern. Dit geeft een super glad gevoel en een zwoele vintage klank.
